From the mountains of Chile to the South African bush, the Mauser Model 1895 secured its place in history as the finest rifle of its era. Reliable and quick to operate, the 1895 was used with great effect in many conflicts throughout the end of the 19th century on through the early 20th. These rifles were Manufactured in Germany prior to 1898 by the Ludwig Loewe firm and feature the Chilean crest. These rifles are missing a combination of floor plate, magazine spring and follower, and rear sight sight elevation slide. Also expect a minor crack somewhere in the stock.
