Excellent - Almost all original finish remaining. Perhaps light scratches in finish or dings in grips.
Very Good - Light finish wear, minor scratches or dings, grease and grime, etc.
Good - Mild to heavy finish wear, scratches and dings, grease and grime, etc.
Fair - Little to no finish remaining, minor pitting or rust, grease and grime, etc.
Poor - Little to no finish remaining, pitting and rust, possibly cracked grips, grease and grime, etc.
Fair, Good, Very Good, & Excellent Incomplete - Will be missing a minor part or parts, and/or simply not functioning correctly and need the attention of a competent gunsmith.
Poor, Incomplete - While the finish on these firearms can vary widely, they will either be missing or have a damaged major component such as the bolt, barrel, frame, receiver, slide, or stock. Firearms in this condition are a fantastic source of parts or will need the attention of a competent gunsmith.
